An ongoing project with Kathrin Böhm, building an online archive of her 25+ year art practice. It was initiated to accompany her exhibition, COMPOST, at The Showroom, London.
The first phase of work focused on content modelling and developing the CMS, to make connections between types of data in the archive (people, objects, events). Initial attempts at super-exhaustive documentation were adapted to better reflect the physical archive (and capacity of the archive team).
Version 1.0 of the site is a list-based one-to-one surfacing of all the data uploaded to the CMS. The next steps will be to add some functionality – filters, sorting, search, authoring tools – to activate the data and put it to use.
